Yemeni Prime Minister Expresses Appreciation for KSrelief’s Demining Project in Yemen MASAM

Aden, February 10, 2022, SPA -- Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik expressed his country’s appreciation for the role and big sacrifices offered by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre’s (KSrelief) Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" in removing the death waiting for Yemenis, which Houthi militia plants heavily and randomly in freed areas. Saeed expressed condolences in the martyrdom of two demining experts Ahmad Al-Dhahiri and Murad Abdulsalam while doing their duty in Hays District in Al-Hudaydah and wished a third who was injured a speedy recovery, stressing that the two martyrs and those who died before of project’s experts will remain as immoral symbols in the memory of Yemenis, especially that they offered their lives to remove the seeds of death. The prime minister, according to the official Yemeni news agency SABA, noted that the internationally restricted Houthi mines have become a threat to life and their presence claims the lives of civilians, mainly children and women, and a worrying issue for the government and citizens, reiterating the importance of intensifying international and regional support to avoid the fall of more victims from civilians. He also stressed that the Houthi militia must be held accountable for the crimes they perpetrate against humanity and that these crimes that will not fall under a statute of limitations.
