Tabuk, Jan 20, 2022, SPA -- The Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) and the Egyptian Armed Forces (EAF) concluded their Tabuk-5 maneuvers that were conducted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's northwestern region. Tabuk-5 drill concluded its final phase in the presence of the Commander of the Northwest Region Maj. General Hussein bin Saeed Al-Qahtani and a number of senior officers from both sides. The conclusion of the maneuvers witnessed the application of a number of military scenarios that the forces were trained on during the exercise, as the Saudi-Egyptian special forces carried out parachute landings and free-jumping using gunship helicopters to clear and storm the fortified post, and the armored mechanisms carried out support operations using live ammunition for light and heavy weapons.
