Amman, March 12, 2022, SPA-- The Adviser at the Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, inaugurated yesterday a project in Irbid Governorate to care for Syrian orphans and the host community in Jordan. Several orphaned children performed various activities during the event, followed by the distribution of school bags and in-kind gifts to the orphaned students. Dr. Al Rabeeah also distributed electric chairs to 22 disabled Syrians. Dr. Al Rabeeah expressed his happiness with the inauguration of the project, which aims to facilitate the lives of orphans, care for them and their families in all available affairs, provide psychological support, achieve social solidarity and economic security for them, adding that KSA will spare no effort in helping everyone in need, especially the orphans' category. He stressed that the center is keen to provide integrated care for orphans by securing health care for them, ensuring their access to educational services, and integrating them into society. Through the project, care and all services will be provided to sponsor orphans and their families in Irbid for a full year, benefiting 56 families, including 40 Syrian families and 16 Jordanian families of 191 orphans and widows. This humanitarian project comes as an extension of other projects provided by Saudi Arabia, via the Center, to protect orphans, improve their living conditions and alleviate their suffering by ensuring them a decent life. --SPA 18:54 LOCAL TIME 15:54 GMT 0010 www.spa.gov.sa/w1704314
