With Participation of RSLF, Gulf Shooting Exercise 2021 Concluded in Kuwait

Kuwait, Nov 18, 2021, SPA -- Under the auspices of the Kuwaiti Minister of Interior and Acting Defense Minister Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali Al-Sabah, the Gulf Shooting Exercise 2021, which took place from 07 to 18 of November 2021, was concluded today in Al-Adira'a complex in the State of Kuwait. The exercise was held with the participation of the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) and formations of the Kuwaiti land force, in addition to the Task Force Spartan of US forces. The maneuvers at the conclusion of the exercise were attended by the Kuwaiti Army Chief of General staff Lieutenant General Khaled Saleh Al-Sabah; the RSLF Commander Lt. Gen. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair; the Saudi Ambassador to the State of Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid; the U.S Army CENTCOM Commander Lt. Gen. Ronald Clark; the Saudi military attaché to Kuwait, Brigadier General Musleh bin Saleh Al-Otaibi and a number of senior commanders in the armed forces of the countries participating in the exercise. For his part, the RSLF Commander Lt. Gen. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair stressed that the participation of the Royal Saudi Land Forces in the Gulf Shooting Exercise 2021 with a number of other countries contributes to raising the readiness and combat capacity of the participating units in preparation for any future operations to defend the region and the security of the Arab Gulf and the security of the region in general.
