Manama, November 18, 2021, SPA -- Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met here today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain (the chair country of current session) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, at the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, they discussed several issues related to the joint Gulf work, in addition to means to address the various challenges facing the Gulf cooperation process in various fields. They also exchanged views on priority files, to boost the relations of the GCC states with the international community. Also today, Al-Hajraf met with the Bahraini Minister of Defense Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi in Manama, where they discussed the joint military cooperation among the GCC armed forces and the distinguished efforts made to upgrade the capabilities of the defense systems in order to protect the sovereignty and independence of the GCC states and preserve their achievements and interests of their citizens. --SPA 21:03 LOCAL TIME 18:03 GMT 0027 www.spa.gov.sa/w1653329
