Jeddah, November 06, 2021, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen expressed the OIC’s condemnation in the strongest terms of the new attack by the Houthi terrorist militia on civilians at Abha International Airport, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a booby-trapped plane. The Secretary General reiterated that the attack on civilian airports and endangering the lives of innocent travelers are a cowardly terrorist act, a war crime and a grave violation of the international humanitarian law, as the Saudi Air Defenses were able to intercept and destroy it, stressing the OIC's support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to deal with the practices of the terrorist Houthi militia in order to preserve its security and stability, and the safety of the citizens and residents on its territory. Dr. Al-Othaimeen reiterated his call on the international community to take firm positions to halt the continued cowardly threats with ballistic missiles and booby-trapped planes in a systematic and deliberate manner by the Houthi militia to target the civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. --SPA 21:26 LOCAL TIME 18:26 GMT 0029 www.spa.gov.sa/w1647675
