Abu Dhabi, December 19, 2021, SPA -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned terrorist Houthi militia's attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in Khamis Mushait City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a systematic and deliberate manner with a bomb-laden drone, which was intercepted by the Coalition Forces today. In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) stressed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthis reflects their blatant disregard of the international community and all international laws and norms. The ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these recurrent acts that target vital and civil facilities, the security of the Kingdom, and global energy supplies, stressing that the continued threat of these attacks in recent days is a grave escalation that represents new evidence of these militias' attempts to undermine security and stability in the region. The UAE renewed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia over these terrorist attacks and reiterated its firm position against all threats to Saudi Arabia's security and stability. The UAE also reiterated its support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to maintain the safety and security of citizens and residents.
