Jeddah, March 28, 2022, SPA -- On Behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region, Sunday attended the conclusion of Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sport, rewarded driver Max Verstappen of the Red Bull team for winning the first place at Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2022 which was held on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, where the race witnessed severe competition during the final laps with the Monaco racing driver Charles Leclerc of the Ferrari team who headed drivers in most times of the race before Verstappen managed to overtake Leclerc before three laps of the finish line and finished the race by 0.549 seconds. Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and Chairman of the Saudi Motorsport Company, honored Leclerc who won the second place, while Governor of the Public Investment Fund Yasir bin Othman Al-Rumayyan honored Spanish racing driver Carlos Sainz of the Ferrari team.
