Riyadh, February 06, 2022, SPA -- The Saudi-Norwegian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council, headed by Shura Council member and Chairman of the Committee Hazza bin Bakr Al-Qahtani, held a meeting here today with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Thomas Lid Ball. The Chairman of the Committee stressed the importance of intensifying work to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two kingdoms in various fields, especially parliamentary fields, and to enhance the role played by the joint parliamentary friendship committees between the Shura Council and the Norwegian Parliament. For his part, the Norwegian Ambassador stressed the importance of strengthening the joint parliamentary work between the two friendly countries, and exchanging experiences between them in a way that contributes to expanding horizons of cooperation and achieving common interests in various fields. He valued the relief and humanitarian efforts and projects carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Yemen. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Norway in various fields.
