Riyadh, Jan. 02, 2022, SPA -- The government of Tajikistan has exempted Saudi citizens from entry visas to Tajikistan, effective January 01, 2022, as per an official decision issued on October 26, 2021, exempting citizens of 52 countries from entry visas to Tajikistan. Tajik Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi said, at a press conference held in Riyadh today, that the Kingdom is among the countries whose nationals could enter Tajikistan without the need for a prior visa, a decision taken due to the distinguished relations between the two countries and the Tajik government's keenness to boost and develop cooperation with the Kingdom in all areas of common interest. The ambassador stressed that under this decision, Saudi citizens can travel to Tajikistan without a prior visa, whether electronic or paper, or upon arrival at the airport, and they are entitled to stay in the country for a maximum period of 30 days, which can be extended by the concerned authorities, in case the Saudi visitors wished to stay longer than the aforementioned period. --SPA 21:38 LOCAL TIME 18:38 GMT 0027 www.spa.gov.sa/w1673029
