Riyadh, October 28, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 and its ambitious strategy have contributed to attracting local and foreign investments to take advantage of its huge and various natural resources. The Public Investment Fund (PIF) is the effective engine for diversifying the economy and an essential arm for achieving the goals of the Saudi Arabia vision 2030, the paper said. PIF is one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world, as it established solid economic partnerships which contribute to enhance the Saudi Arabia's vital role in the regional and global scene, the paper added. PIF has effectively contributed to promoting the economic and investment sustainability in Saudi Arabia the paper further added . PIF has also contributed to launching a number of major national projects, in addition to creating hundreds of thousands of jobs and increasing its participation in the non-oil domestic product, the paper concluded. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Middle East Green Initiative (MGI) Summit, which was held in Riyadh, with wide international participation of leaders of countries and decision makers in the world aims to draw a regional map to preserve life and raise its quality. The MGI Summit, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense aims to coordinate efforts towards protecting the environment and confronting climate change, in addition to reduce carbon emissions in the region, the paper said.
