Riyadh, January 22, 2022, SPA -- The eighth season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is about to start, with the first and second rounds of the Diriyah FIA 2022 Grand Prix, scheduled to be held on January 28 and 29, at night under the floodlights. Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Motorsport Co. (SMC) said: “I am proud that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the first and second rounds of the Formula E racing season in Diriyah, which set a precedent by hosting the night race for the second time in a row.
