Riyadh, Feb. 14, 2022, SPA -- President of The Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met here today with the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa. During the meeting, President Solih decorated the MWL Secretary General with the Medal of Honor of the Republic, in recognition of his efforts in serving Islam and global peace, in addition to announcing the opening of the MWL's regional office in The Maldives. Meanwhile, the MWL Secretary General also held a meeting with senior officials of the Foreign Ministry of The Maldives. Dr. Al-Issa also met with Minister of Islamic Affairs of The Maldives Dr. Ahmad Zaher.
