The name SEDRA is inspired by the indigenous tree that is widely found in the Saudi community. The name means endurance and is aligned with ROSHN’s objective to create a community that promotes the preservation of nature and a sustainable lifestyle in line with Vision 2030. The announcement said that more than 4,500 homes will be built in Phase One of construction. The modern, integrated community will provide homes with different sizes and facades to cater to all residents. Homes will be made available ready to live in and will come with kitchens, split unit ACs, water heating systems, and LED light fixtures, among other amenities. SEDRA aspires to offer future homeowners the opportunity to secure high-quality homes in a flourishing community. SEDRA has been designed using the Salmani architecture, a unique approach that fuses urban and traditional design to emphasis the Saudi rich culture and heritage.
