Riyadh, December 13, 2021, SPA -- CEO of the Expenditure and Project Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) Eng. Abdulrazzaq Al-Aujan has stressed that the State General Budget for 2022 expresses a wise vision that reflects the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leadership to empower and sustain the economy, realize the prosperity of the homeland and provide the requirements of a decent life for citizens, with emphasis on the importance of further enhancing the expenditure efficiency, preserving financial sustainability and developing infrastructure projects. He added that government institutions, since the launch of the Saudi Vision 2030, have contributed to releasing savings of more than SAR530 billion, including SAR120 of savings in 2021, where these savings have been redirected to expenditures that serve the development targets, and priority schemes for the interest of citizens and homeland and reduce the days of implementing projects in a general way with over 3,500 days. Eng.
