Riyadh, September 09, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh Newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its ambitious vision 2030, is seeking to achieve none oil economic resources. In this regard, HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has launched Jeddah Historical Area Revival Project, which is seen as one of key goals of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030, the paper said. The project aims to enhancing the economic resources inherent in "Historic Jeddah" and working to prepare it in line with social and cultural transformations to be an attractive center for business and cultural projects and a major destination for aspiring entrepreneurs, the paper added . The new conception of historic Jeddah is characterized by taking into account its value in the context of human history, as a major hub for trade and culture since its founding in 3rd century BC, the paper further added. Due to its historical importance, Jeddah was registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014, the paper concluded. Al-Bilad Newspaper reported in its editorial that the Human Capability Development Program is one of the newly refreshed programs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 . It was created to develop citizens' capabilities, prepare them for the future and support them to seize opportunities, the paper said. The program focuses on instilling values, developing basic and future skills and enhancing the knowledge various fields, the paper further said. The program also focuses on developing a solid educational base for all citizens to instill values from an early age, while preparing the youth for the future local and global labor, the paper added. Globally, Saudi Arabia has kept pace with the goals of the International Labor Organization (ILO), by structuring the economy and transforming it into a diversified and inclusive economy, increasing employment rates, in addition to enhancing women’s participation and supporting employers in the private and non-profit sectors, the paper further added.
