Supported by KSrelief, Artificial Limbs Center Continues Providing Medical Services to Patients in Seiyun, Yemen

Seyoun, Yemen, June 22, 2021, SPA -- The Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Seiyun, With the support of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), has continued providing medical services to Yemenis who lost their limbs. During May, 2021, the center provided 819 services to 471 patients, where artificial limbs were manufactured, installed and rehabilitated for 93 patients, including services related to delivering, measuring and maintenance of artificial limbs. This is in addition to offering physical therapy sessions and specialized consultations to 387 people. These endeavors come as a continuation of humanitarian projects being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to develop the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people. --SPA 15:23 LOCAL TIME 12:23 GMT 0019 www.spa.gov.sa/w1575283
