More Than 100 Development Projects Attract Business Community to Makkah Region Projects Digital Exhibition

Jeddah, June 12, 2021, SPA -- The Makkah Region Projects Digital Exhibition in Jeddah has attracted more than 100 development ventures in the fields of building a human being and developing place. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, the Principality of Makkah Region said that the concluding session for its programs and events would be combined for the first time in one week, and held annually with the participation of governmental agencies and civil society organizations. The week-long exhibition, held at the Jeddah Super Dome, will witness the launch of the fifth round of the Makkah Days for Programming and Artificial Intelligence, a pioneering initiative of the Makkah Cultural Forum, under the title "How to be a Role Model in the Digital World", as well as discussion sessions on media the latest technology developments in the media and advertisement fields. For their part, representatives of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) voiced their appreciation for the efforts of the Governor of Makkah Region and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, and his Deputy Governor, in launching the exhibition in interactive digital technologies and educating the public about the Makkah Region's development projects. Deputy Chairman of the JCCI Board Khalaf Hossan Al-Otaibi said that the high-profile exhibition reflected the Governor of Makkah Region's realization of the grand religious and social importance of Makkah, especially as it is held at the world's largest freestanding dome. Fayez Al-Harbi, the vice chairman of the board of directors of the JCCI, said that the fair reflects the technological advancements of the Makkah Region.
