KSrelief Delivers Medical Aid to Sudanese Ministry of Health to Combat Coronavirus

Khartoum, May 5, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered yesterday the first batch of medical aid to the Sudanese Ministry of Health, which amounts to 52 tons of emergency medicines, intravenous fluids and various medical consumables to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), benefiting 1,588,883 individuals. The project aims to support Sudanese government hospitals with intravenous fluids necessary for emergency medical intervention, supply hospitals with life-saving medical supplies, and provide medicines for chronic diseases and emergency departments. Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Health Dr. Yusra Othman praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's stances towards Sudan, extending thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Crown Prince and KSrelief for this medical aid.
