Riyadh, May 4, 2021, SPA -- The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), partner of the World Health Organization (WHO), has announced the election of Dr. Abdulaziz AL-Rajhi as President of the 22-member Middle East Region of IAPB. According to the announcement, Dr. AL-Rajhi was chosen in recognition of his pioneering role in the field of eye medicine in general and combat of blindness and serving as associate chief executive officer of ICO in particular. Dr. AL-Rajhi has assumed a number of top posts in anti-blindness field in the Middle East in general and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular.
