Zagreb, Nov 11, 2021, SPA -- The Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandrokovic received here today the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, currently on a visit to the Republic of Croatia. During the meeting, Jandrokovic commended the bilateral relations between the two countries, wishing to deepen their cooperation in various fields. He also hailed the role being played by the Kingdom in supporting global peace and security. For his part, Dr. Al-Sheikh affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen and develop its relations with the Republic of Croatia, indicating that the Kingdom's leadership bears a great Islamic project, which is to purify Islam from the impurities that have tarnished it because of those who politicize Islam for political matters and partisan purposes, stressing that Islam is a great religion that calls for cooperation, love, peace, preservation of homeland security. --SPA 20:33 LOCAL TIME 17:33 GMT 0025 www.spa.gov.sa/w1650380
