Saudi Press: Saudi Cabinet Calls on all Yemeni Parties to Complete Implementation of Riyadh Agreement

Riyadh, November 03, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that, In its virtually session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday, the Cabinet called on all Yemeni parties to complete the implementation of Riyadh Agreement to unite ranks, confront terrorism, achieve security and stability and restore their state. This comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unremitting efforts to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis, affirming its solidarity and standing by Yemeni people, the paper said. The Riyadh Agreement represents an important pivotal stage towards resolving the Yemeni crisis, as it included activating the role of all Yemeni state authorities and institutions, reorganizing the military and security forces, adhering to the full citizenship rights of all Yemeni people, the paper further said. The agreement included rejecting regional and sectarian discrimination, disputes, divisions stopping abusive media campaigns between the parties, unifying efforts to restore security and stability in Yemen, in addition to confronting terrorist organizations, the paper added. The agreement also stipulated setting of a committee under the supervision of the coalition to restore the legitimacy in Yemen led by Saudi Arabia to follow up, implement and achieve the provisions of the agreement. The agreement also included the participation of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the government delegation for consultations on the final political solution to end the Houthi Coup Militia, the paper further added.
