Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Directs Standing by Algeria in its Efforts to Combat Fires

Riyadh, Aug. 16, 2021, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed profound sadness and sorrow for the human and material losses the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria has incurred as a result of recent strong fires. In light of the firm and fraternal ties binding the two countries and peoples of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Algeria, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directed the relevent authorities to stand by Algeria in its efforts to combat the fires in a way that contributes to mitigating their disastrous impacts. Accordingly, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) was assigned to dispatch urgent humanitarian aid to relievieve the affected.
