Kabul, June 3, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Wednesday delivered assistance that included medical devices, equipment and supplies to Rabia Balkhi Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics in Kabul, Afghanistan. The handing over ceremony was attended by Chargé d'affaires of the Saudi embassy in Afghanistan Nader Al-Shahrani, officials from the Afghani Ministry of Public Health and director of the hospital Sadiqa Abdullah Adib, in addition to KSrelief team. Al-Shahrani, in a press statement, said that KSrelief has offered multiple assistance packages in Afghanistan, including the health, education and rehabilitation sectors, among others, noting that Saudi charity donations covered all countries of the world. For her part, the hospital director said that the aid included 18 kinds of advanced medical supplies that will help cover the shortage of the hospital, where medical and nursing personnel will be trained on how to use these devices, expressing her deep appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for its generous aid and ongoing support to Afghanistan under all circumstances and at all levels.
