Riyadh, May 04, 2021, SPA -- In line with the declaration of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to allow Saudi nationals to travel abroad and return and in implementation of the recommendations of the pertaining authorities, the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) issued a circular to all aviation companies operating at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's airports, including general and private aviation, over the procedures related to nationals travel abroad. The circulation allows aviation companies to transport vaccinated people who have received two full Covid-19 doses or those who received only one dose, provided that 14-day of inoculation have passed since taking the first dose, as shown by the Tawakkalna application, which is officially accredited to allow airports' entry and boarding the planes. It allows transporting the recovered nationals from Covid-19, provided that less 6-month have passed since they contacted it, in accordance to Tawakkalna, too. Transporting nationals under 18 years is allowed also, provided that they present an insurance document accredited by the Saudi Central Bank, covering COVID-19 risks, abroad the Kingdom, in accordance with the announcements of the concerned authorities. GACA confirmed that these measures will take effect as of 01:00 AM of Monday, Shawwal 05, 1442AH, corresponding to May 17, 2021. On the occasion, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailij extended thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership keenness to allow the nationals to travel abroad, in accordance with the considerate medical preconditions, praising the successful efforts exerted by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to combat the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. --SPA 01:00 LOCAL TIME 22:00 GMT 0008 www.spa.gov.sa/w1553088
