Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia has a stronger economy with Vision 2030

Riyadh, April 28, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the interviews of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman are of great importance locally and internationally, due to the speeches’ transparency and honesty, as well as the language of trust, openness, and the bold and leadership future vision that the interviews are distinguished by. HRH the Crown Prince’s interviews are also the focus of attention of everyone at both the local and global levels. Since the announcement two days ago about HRH the Crown Prince’s interview, that was broadcasted yesterday, social media platforms have been discussing the contents of the interview, which carried in its aspects many economic, social, security and political messages at the national, regional and global levels, related to the Kingdom's Vision 2030, Saudi affairs and the future of the Kingdom's economy in light of Vision 2030 and its tremendous achievements. The newspaper added that since Prince Mohammed bin Salman became the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia has been able to achieve exceptional achievements in light of Vision 2030. The Kingdom’s development programs have also succeeded in achieving numerous achievements in line with the Vision’s themes; namely : A vibrant society, thriving economy and an ambitious nation. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that Saudi Arabia has occupied its prominent place among the most powerful economies in the world, as an active member of the G20 countries, while continuing its efforts to realize the goals of Vision 2030. The newspaper added that over the past five years with Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia has witnessed multiple accomplishments, including setting public policies, raising the quality of life, enhancing partnership with the private sector, facilitating the business environment, progressing in privatization program and developing promising and new sectors. Moreover, Saudi Arabia was able to overcome repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic, through taking health and preventive measures to ensure people’s health and safety and approving a number of initiatives and measures to assist the private sector, preserve jobs and support needy segments of the society. The newspaper further added that the Saudi economy has more board opportunities since the Public Investment Fund (PIF) became one of the major engines of its growth. As for the global level, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has remained a reliable partner in energy supply and protection of international trade as it prepares to become over the next ten years a global hub for conventional and renewable energy and its technologies. Moreover, Saudi Arabia has already inaugurated the Sakaka solar PV in line with the “Saudi Green” and the “Middle East Green” initiatives that were recently launched at the local and regional levels. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that even during the Holy month of Ramadan, the Iranian regime continues in its attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that are protected under international humanitarian law, through the terrorist Houthi militias attacks that represent war crimes. The newspaper pointed to the statement of the Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki, in which he said that a bomb-laden Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) was intercepted and destroyed on Tuesday, 27 April 2021 in the Red Sea waters off the shores of (Yanbu).
