Cairo, May 24, 2021, SPA -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Sameh Shoukry, who is currently visiting Ramallah. Following the meeting, a spokesman of the Egyptian foreign ministry said to reporters here that the meeting tackled ways to revive the peace track and provide support for and assistance to the Palestinian people, quoting Minister Shoukry as confirming his country's continuing efforts to build on the current ceasefire in Gaza Strip.
