Riyadh, May 24, 2021, SPA -- In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the General Directorate of Passports has begun extending the residence visas for the Kingdom's residents currently outside the country as well as the tourist visas and the exit-re-entry visas automatically and without any fees until 21, 10, 1442 AH corresponding to 2, June, 2021. The extension, issued by Minister of Finance, came within the Government's continued efforts to deal with the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and as per the measures to ensure the wellbeing of citizens and residents and alleviate their economic and financial burdens. The General Directorate of Passports announced that the automatic extension of visas will be carried out in cooperation with the National Information Center in two stages: First, extending the residence and exit-re-entry visas until 21, 10, 1442 AH corresponding to 02, June, 2021 for the Kingdom's residents currently in the countries on the entry ban list due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
