Washington, April 15, 2021, SPA -- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken affirmed the continued commitment of the United States to Afghanistan. This came during a meeting held today in Kabul between US Secretary of State Blinken and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. The two sides discussed joint investments in Afghanistan and the importance of preserving the gains of the past twenty years, especially in building a strong civil society. They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in combating terrorism.
