Riyadh, April 29, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Bilad and Okaz newspapers reported in their editorials that His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in the interview that was transmitted on the state’s television and the most important Arab television channels on Tuesday, discussed most important achievements of the Kingdom Vision 2030 programs and projects over the past five years, under the special care and great support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and direct supervision and follow-up of HRH the Crown Prince. The newspapers added that HRH the Crown Prince’s speech included the Kingdom’s plans and aspirations in the coming years, using the language of numbers to highlight the Saudi achievements. HRH the Crown Prince presented the giant and exceptional achievements that the Kingdom has achieved over the past five years, as well as the government’s focus on the quality of life, which made the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a leading model in development, economic reforms and combating extremism and corruption. The interview also highlighted HRH the Crown Prince’s keenness to provide good jobs in Saudi Arabia and reduce the unemployment rates. HRH the Crown Prince said that the 15% VAT this is undoubtedly a very painful procedure, but it came in order to avoid canceling a large part of the allowances or reducing salaries and others, adding that the 15% VAT is a temporary decision that may last one to five years maximum, and then matters will return to normal. HRH the Crown Prince also affirmed that there will be no income tax in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The newspapers further added that HRH the Crown Prince underscored what has been achieved in the field of housing, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) achievements, in addition Riyadh City development plans in order to create approximately 6 million additional jobs in Riyadh. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman presented the Kingdom’s policy and its future plans at all levels, which focus primarily on the interest of the citizen. HRH the Crown Prince said: “The governance law is clear and explicit that health and education services are free for citizens.” He also said that our identity is very strong and a source of pride, stressing that “Our constitution is the Quran which will last forever.
