Sport Minister Discloses Details of New Route of Saudi Dakar Rally Second Edition

Riyadh, Nov 25, 2020, SPA -- The organizing committee of Saudi Dakar Rally announced today, through a "virtual press conference" from Paris, the final details of the rally's route. Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee; Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF); CEO of Amore Sport, Jan Luminier and Director of the Dakar Rally, David Castera took part in the press conference during which details of the completely new route of the Saudi Dakar Rally 2021 were announced. The second edition of Saudi Dakar Rally will be held for the second year in a row on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 3 to 15 January 2021. It will start from Jeddah and cross a distance of 7,646 km, passing through Bisha, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Riyadh, Buraidah, Hail, Sakaka, NEOM, Al-Ula and Yanbu before reaching the finish line in Jeddah again on January 15.
