Riyadh, November 04, 2020, SPA -- Saudi Ports have made a new progress in the Liner Shipping Connectivity Index (LSCI) as per the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development's (UNCTAD) report for the third quarter (Q3) of 2020. According to the report, the ports achieved a growth of 13.8 points or 24.6%, which represents the highest in the region, bringing their toll up to 70.14 points. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ports achieved an increasing progress in LSCI, as their tally reached 56.3 points in the first quarter of 2019, while the average points of Saudi Arabia was 62.40 points in 2019, compared to 68.46 points in the second quarter of 2020. In the third quarter of 2020, the total points rose to 70.14.
