Cairo, March 8, 2021, SPA -- President of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi condemned the cowardly sabotage attacks that attempted to target one of the petroleum tanks at Ras Tanura Port in the Eastern Region using a bomb-laden UAV, and targeting Saudi Aramco facilities in Dhahran, which were successfully intercepted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's defense forces. In a statement issued, Al-Asoumi stressed that these despicable attacks do not target the Kingdom's security and economic capabilities only, but rather target global energy security and its main supplies, and represent a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms. He stressed that it's time for the international community to take a deterrent stance to put a definitive end to these attacks that target security and stability in the region and threatening the global economy. Al-Asoumi praised the efficiency of the Kingdom's defense forces and its permanent readiness to confront these cowardly terrorist attacks.
