Riyadh, February 17, 2021, SPA -- Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has obtained three “ Recognized for Excellence” certificates at once in institutional excellence from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). The SEC's industrial security sector received Recognized for Excellence certificate, making the Saudi Electricity the first company in the Middle East to obtain this certificate in this sector, and the company's Distribution and Customer Services – Southern Sector and Human Resources Development Sector received the same certificate. The Director of Institutional Excellence Department in the SEC Moayad Al-Sabr said that the company has been applying, institutional excellence since 2013 in order to enhance its capabilities towards continuity and leadership in providing electrical services with high reliability, and the company’s efforts were crowned by obtaining Recognized for Excellence 3 Stars Certificate in the three sectors.
