Islamabad, Apr. 05, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched here today the Ramadan food baskets distribution project in Pakistan for this lunar year. The inauguration took place during a ceremony held in Islamabad, under the auspices of the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and a number of officials. The director of the KSrelief Office in Pakistan Dr. Khaled bin Muhammad Al-Othmani, explained that the project includes the distribution of 20,700 food baskets, weighing 850 tons, and one basket containing basic foodstuffs that are sufficient for one family throughout the holy month, benefiting 20,700 needy families, in 10 districts in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. For his part, Ambassador Al-Maliki explained that this project is an extension of the humanitarian projects that the KSrelief is implementing, under the generous direction of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince.
