NEOM, Mar. 24, 2021, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, met here today with the State Counselor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi. At the outset of the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the current visit of Chinese Foreign Minister to the Kingdom. For his part, the visiting Minister conveyed the greetings of President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China to HRH the Crown Prince who, in turn, conveyed his greetings to the President. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of Saudi-Chinese relations, areas of bilateral cooperation and promising opportunities for their development in various sectors. The meeting also dealt with the latest developments relating to regional and international events and the efforts being exerted in their regard to enhance security and stability, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest. The meeting was attended by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member.
