ISESCO takes part in symposium on human rights in jails and reformatory institutions

Rabat, Dec 17, 2020, SPA – The Rabat-based Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) took part in the virtual international scientific symposium on “human rights in jails and reformatory institutions”, held by Riyadh-based Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in partnership with the Moroccan General Prosecution Presidency and the UN office in charge of drugs and crime on December 15-16, 2020, it was reported today. In a statement here, ISESCO said the organization’s legal affairs department has submitted a paper on the human rights of jailed women, an proposal calling for getting them rehabilitated in the society after serving their sentences.
