Makkah, April 20, 2021, SPA -- The General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs, represented by the Department of Environmental Protection and Epidemic Control, has intensified disinfection operations at the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah, as it uses 10,000 liters of environmentally friendly detergents to sterilize and create an environment free of epidemics. The Director of the Environmental Protection and Epidemic Control Department, Hassan Al-Suwairi, said that more than 70 field teams work around the clock to sterilize the Grand Mosque and its facilities, by using up-to-date techniques of sterilization and disinfection to ensure the safety of the Grand Mosque’s visitors.
