Riyadh, May 11, 2021, SPA -- Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa received here yesterday a delegation from the Islamic Religious Authority of Austria. During the meeting, they discussed ways to activate Makkah Al-Mukarramah Document with President of the Islamic Religious Authority of Austria Dr. Umit Vural, and members of the delegation. Dr. Al-Issa co-signed with Dr. Vural a memorandum of cooperation on activating, translating and submitting the contents of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Document to the parties concerned with the civilizational communication, in addition to holding intellectual and cultural events on the document and seeking to incorporate it into academic programs. The document includes the exchange of information, experience and publications in the fields of joint Islamic work. The two parties issued a joint statement in which they clarified their commitment to promoting the joint action and spreading awareness of the Islamic work and Austrian national values.
