Seoul, September 04, 2020, SPA -- South Korea extended today the tighter social distancing restrictions in Seoul and its suburbs for one more week, until September 13. South Korea's Central Headquarters for Disaster Control and Safety Measures said the 2.5 level of social distancing, which is currently applied in Seoul and its suburbs, will be extended until September 13, restricting the work in restaurants, bakeries and cafes, and constantly closing indoor sports facilities and private educational institutes. The 2.5 level of social distancing is more stringent than the second level guidelines that are applied across South Korea, under the 3-level social distancing system. -- SPA 15:16 LOCAL TIME 12:16 GMT 0006 www.spa.gov.sa/w1404094
