Health Ministry Spokesman: 231 New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 Reported, in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Nov 23, 2020, SPA -- Assistant Minister of Health and Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdulaali said in a press conference here today that 231 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 355,489 cases, including 5,877 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 765 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, he said. As many as 445 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 343,816, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that 16 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 5,796. On the other hand, 40,395 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of the laboratory tests to 9,295,599, he said. --SPA 19:00 LOCAL TIME 16:00 GMT 0015 www.spa.gov.sa/w1455740
