Brussels, Nov 22, 2020, SPA -- The European Union (EU) praises the agreement reached by the leaders of the G20 countries to confront global epidemics and economic challenges, at the conclusion of 2020 G20 Leaders’ Summit chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and concluded its meetings in Riyadh today. A statement issued in Brussel by the EU stated that an international treaty on epidemics could help prevent them in the future and help everyone respond faster and in a more coordinated manner, calling for negotiations with all countries and United Nations' organizations and agencies. In this regard, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen expressed happiness at the agreement by G20 summit to make Covid-19 vaccines available at reasonable prices for everyone.
