Maareb, Yemen, August 25, SPA -- Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Mueen Abdulmalik met today with Djiboutian ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Zuauddin Bakharmah. During the meeting, they reviewed the existing cooperation relations between the two countries, the role Djibouti is playing in support of Yemeni people since the eruption of war instigated by the Houthi militia's coup in Sanaa in addition to the progress of the joint ministerial committee between Yemen and Djibouti. The meeting also tackled the joint coordination between the two countries in the protection of the security of Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab strait as well as the maritime navigation in this vital sea passage, terror combat and challenges facing security within coordination of the Arab and African Red Sea coastal countries. The two senior officials discussed the Khazan Safer oil disaster risk, noting their keenness to coordinate efforts and positions to serve security and stability in the region.
