Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Jan 04, 2021, SPA -- Chief of the army staff of Pakistan General Qamar Javed Bajwa met here today with US special envoy for Afghan reconciliation process Zalmay Khalilzad who is currently on an official visit to Pakistan. During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the general command of the Pakistani army in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi, the two sides discussed issues of mutual concern, including the regional security situation of common interest with focus on the process of the Afghan reconciliation. The two sides also confirmed their commitment to achieve the joint goal of peace and stability in the region.
