Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Supports Yemen and Maintain Its Security and Stability

Riyadh, December 11, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that Riyadh Agreement strengthens the prominent role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in bringing peace to Yemen, reaching a peaceful and consensual solution based on references and principles, in addition to achieving welfare for Yemeni people and standing up against the Iranian sabotage project represented by the terrorist Houthi militia which is seeking to remain Yemen as destabilized country. The paper said that Saudi Arabia has worked to support Yemen and maintain its security and stability, as it comes as a top supporter of humanitarian response plans there, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief). The paper added that Saudi Arabia is providing through Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) 175 projects and initiatives distributed in many vital sectors there. The paper further added that Saudi Arabia supported the Central Bank of Yemen with $ 2.2 billion, in order to improve the economic situation and stabilize the exchange rate of the Yemeni Riyal. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia is working to provide decent livelihoods for the Yemeni people and set various projects in many fields in order to establish the foundations of security and stability and create job opportunities for Yemeni people through these development projects. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has successfully addressed the Novel Coronavirus Pandemic with the wisdom of its prudent leadership that considers human health and safety as an absolute priority. The paper added that Saudi Arabia is keen on observing and maintaining human rights in its management of the crisis, which enabled it to control the virus with precautionary and preventive measures that effectively contributed to combat it while continuing intensive efforts to eradicate it. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia helped the countries of the world through the virtually extraordinary G20 summit chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, on Covid-19, which resulted in positive steps to serve all humanity, in addition to support many countries for combating the epidemic. --SPA 11:49 LOCAL TIME 08:49 GMT 0004 www.spa.gov.sa/w1465825
