Riyadh, June 12, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Commerce and the General Authority for Foreign Trade called on interested (experts) and the public to voice their opinions and submit their suggestions over a draft-law to develop a regulation for Saudi-foreign business councils, beginning from 26 June 2020, proceeding from the principle of participation and transparency, via the following e-mail link: survey@gaft.gov.sa. The draft-law aimed at enhancing a mechanism for such business councils' workings and consolidate their effectiveness to overcome all hindrances that they may face, enabling them to conclude robust commercial and trade contracts that would raise the private sector contribution to the foreign trade and realizing the goals of the Kingdom Vision 2030. Among the main features of the draft-law are establishing regional business councils, classifying and setting up their formation's standards, set forth indicators to gauge performance, making a mechanism for reporting and implementing plans to promote commercial and investment exchange with other countries. -- SPA 17:51 LOCAL TIME 14:51 GMT 0006 www.spa.gov.sa/w1348875
