Riyadh, Mar. 31, 2021, SPA -- Within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's grant for Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan 2020, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has implemented many humanitarian and relief projects in the education sector for Yemen. The Center, in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration, implemented a project to improve the access of internally displaced persons in Yemen to educational services, support the continuation of educational services and the recovery of the education sector from the effects of the crisis and displacement in the governorates of Aden, Marib, Lahj, Hadramout and Taiz, at a cost of $4.5 million. Moreover, KSrelief, in cooperation with UNICEF, ensured continued access for girls and boys to education by equipping schools, providing educational supplies for students and building the capacities of the educational staff and educational institutions by providing training programs and raising awareness to deal with the coronavirus pandemic in the educational environment in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and local channels at a cost of $10 million. --SPA 21:57 LOCAL TIME 18:57 GMT 0044 www.spa.gov.sa/w1534261
