Addis Ababa, Aug 22, 2020, SPA -- The Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki welcomed here today the declaration of immediate ceasefire, in Libya, calling the Libyan parties to respect it. Faki hailed, in a statement, the efforts of the dispute's parties for favoring the dialogue path, as it is the only way that may put an end to about a decade-long of war, considering the declaration to stop the fighting a step that would facilitate dialogue initiatives and lead to resume the UN Joint Military Committee's workings, aiming at realizing a general ceasefire and relaunching political dialogue among the Libyans. --SPA 21:45 LOCAL TIME 18:45 GMT 0019 www.spa.gov.sa/w1396163
