Riyadh, Sept 05, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arena. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) forced most countries of the world to use forms of distance education technologies instead of normal learning in the traditional classrooms. The editorial said that despite the psychological, social and technical challenges of Covid-19, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was able to overcome such crisis through the digital infrastructure already set in the programs of its Vision 2030, using modern technology in distance learning, adding that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its the Ministry of Education, put plans in advance to ensure the continuity of education to face this crisis, achieving successes in dealing with it. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that at an accelerated pace, technical progress is pushing humanity into a new era of globalization, through artificial intelligence. The paper added that in this regard, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud approved adoption of the national strategy for data and artificial intelligence to enable the various governmental and private programs and sectors to achieve the outputs of Vision 2030.
