Riyadh, August 07, 2020, SPA -- The Ministry of Health has explained the procedures that should be taken, in case of a family member being infected with the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), and the home quarantine mechanism. The Ministry explained in a video clip, through its Twitter account and its awareness platform "Live Well", how to conduct these procedures. When the father is confirmed to be infected with Covid-19 on the first day of the month, he must be subjected to home quarantine for 10 days as a confirmed case, while the rest of the family members are subject to a period of home quarantine for 14 days, starting from the date of confirmation of the father’s infection that was announced on the first day of the month, and any person from the rest of the family members feels any symptoms of infection with the virus later, he/she must count 10 days as a period of home quarantine starting from the appearance of the symptoms. The individuals who did not feel any symptoms during the basic quarantine period, they had to complete the basic period, which is 14 days from the date of confirmation of the father's infection.
